$475 of $475 raised
Mary's neighbors would often bring her orphaned baby wildlife in need of help. She would raise them and then release them when they were strong enough and old enough to make it back in the wild. Mary realized she was pretty good at it so she reached out to a wildlife rehabilitation organization and has been caring for babies ever since. When Mary's hands aren't full of babies who need her help, she does hospice work. She did hands on hospice care for her mother, one on one, and says it was very difficult but she would not change it for the world. Mary says that it seems that the most rewarding things in life are the hardest. That's so true of caring for wildlife as well.
