How has your first Baby Warm incubator helped you?
The first babywarm incubator has helped me because I do not have to worry about babies getting off of the heating pad, the heating pad getting too warm or too cold. The babies also have much more space to move around and they do not seem like they are on top of each other as much as they were on the heating pad. This also keeps them warmer than the heating pad as they were still being exposed to cold air. That concerned me because some do not even have hair yet so I was afraid of them getting too cold, or burnt.

How will this additional incubator help?
The additional incubator would help me because I travel a lot to pick up these babies from people who find them or from other rehabbers. This can sometimes be well over 100 miles to meet up with people. I am currently using rice bags as well as hot water bottles to try and keep them warm during transit. This again poses the same problem as with the heating pad where they could possibly get too warm or too cold. This would help tremendously because I would know that they are the perfect temperature, which with some I have received they have been cold because they sat outside all day, and some are injured. This would also be beneficial to their recovery because the ones that are cold when I get them can go into a warm incubator for the ride home. If they are too cold when I get home they do not eat, or can not eat so this would also increase recovery time because I can feed them right away when I get home.
