About 8 years ago, Jodie found an orphaned baby squirrel in need of rescue. She contacted a local rehabber and after seeing her rehabilitation facility and the wonderful work she was doing to help animals, Jodie knew this was something she wanted to do as well. That's when she began her journey to get her license and begin rehabbing. Jodie says that wildlife rehabilitation allows her to give back by helping those that would otherwise be helpless, and there is no better feeling than successfully releasing an animal that would have otherwise not survived without your intervention.
