Jenna has always wanted to be involved with wildlife. Even as a kid if she saw an injured animal she was always looking to try and help. There was an older woman in her home town who took care of injured wildlife and Jenna loved to go an visit her and hear about her success stories. Now a wildlife rehabber herself, Jenna loves being their voice, and knowing she can help. She says that it’s a team effort. They all work together to help orphaned babies or injured wildlife to get back on their feet and into the wild. It’s not always a happy ending, but when they get those happy endings it makes the sleepless nights, the “bites and scrapes” from scared wildlife, and the time away from their own families and lives all worth it!
