Alecia-lynn L.
It all started out with a 3 week old squirrel that Alecia-lynn's pup found wailing in her front yard. After careful debate and "trying" to find an appropriate person to take care of him, she decided that she would have a go at raising the baby herself. She did a ton of research and found that she was absolutely in love with caring for this little critter. She learned so much about how to care for an orphan squirrel, but being someone who was completely inexperienced with wildlife, she made some critical mistakes. At this point she surrendered him to a licensed rehabilitator, and fortunately the baby turned out just fine. After that, Alecia-lynn was determined to learn more and be the person who takes in the injured and orphaned animals that people find. Two years later she is caring for red and grey squirrels, opossums, mice, voles, porcupine, cottontail rabbits, chipmunks, woodchucks, owls, hawks, vultures, song birds, turtles, snakes, and amphibians. While at first she did not see herself as someone who would want to care for birds of any kind, she's now head over heels! Birds have not stopped fascinating her since moment she began her rehabilitation journey and are now her greatest pleasure. An incubator will help Alecia care for her most fragile patients.
