Serenity A.

As a small child, Serenity took care of many injured animals and knew it was her calling in life. As an adult, she discovered that she has a deep connection and love of opossums. Not only is she committed to helping them but she also wants to change the world’s perspective of these amazing creatures. Serenity's wildlife rehabbing journey began when she picked up an injured opossum last year because the lady who found him was receiving a lot of bad advice and misinformation. Once the patient was in her care, Serenity immediately started searching for someone who could help him. That’s when she found The Opossum’s Pouch! Shortly after, she started volunteering with the organization and learning everything they would teach her about rehabbing. Serenity says that she has been so fulfilled ever since.
